New Connections

From temporary builders supplies to large-scale infrastructure upgrades, Metric Power delivers the Level 2 electrical work needed to connect your project to the Ausgrid network.

Servicing Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and the Hunter

Built around the needs of electricians, builders and developers

Metric Power is an Ausgrid Accredited Service Provider (ASP) Level 2 contractor, authorised to carry out the electrical work required to connect a property or development to the Ausgrid network. We already work alongside builders, electricians and developers on residential and commercial projects across the region, and we understand how a connection fits into the wider construction program.

Whether it's power for a single new home or infrastructure for a multi-lot subdivision, we plan and deliver the connection so it doesn't hold up the rest of the build.

New connection services for every stage of development

Why Use an ASP Level 2 Contractor?

Connecting to the Ausgrid network isn’t standard electrical work. It requires accreditation as a Level 2 Service Provider, licensed to work on the network’s infrastructure. Metric Power holds this accreditation, so we can carry out the connection directly rather than acting as a go-between.

For electricians, that means a specialist Level 2 partner for the network-facing part of a job. For builders and developers, it means one contractor who can scope, plan and deliver the connection alongside everyone else on site.
